Dr. Terry Brock, the new Manager of Archaeology and Research at the Wake Forest Historical Museum and Part Time Assistant Teaching Professor with the Cultural Heritage and Preservation Program, has a unique opportunity for students interested in cultural heritage, digital heritage, and archaeology. His new research group, Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Research Group (CHARG) is hiring three student researchers to work on digital heritage projects throughout the spring of 2022, and fall-spring of 2023 with two cultural heritage organization partners, The Montpelier Foundation and the Wake Forest Historical Museum. Students will learn archaeological field methods at the Montpelier Archaeology Field School, and build strong skills in the applications of Geographic Information Systems for archaeological research, interpretation, and digital heritage.
